Restorative Yoga for Cancer Care Begins July 29

A gentle new program from Pacific Cancer Foundation and Wisdom Flow Yoga offers space to breathe, restore, and reconnect.

A cancer diagnosis can bring countless appointments, difficult decisions, and emotional ups and downs. Amid the challenges of treatment and recovery, finding moments to simply pause and care for yourself can be just as important as medical care.

That's why Pacific Cancer Foundation is pleased to introduce Restorative Yoga for Cancer Care, a new weekly program offered in partnership with Wisdom Flow Yoga. Beginning Wednesday, July 29, this free class provides a welcoming space where individuals affected by cancer can slow down, reduce stress, and reconnect with themselves through gentle movement, breathwork, and guided meditation.

Designed specifically for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones, the class is accessible to all experience levels. No previous yoga experience is necessary, and every movement can be adapted to meet participants where they are physically and emotionally.

"Restorative yoga isn't about pushing yourself," said instructor Dale Andrew Miles. "It's about creating space for healing, finding stillness, and supporting the connection between mind, body, and spirit."

Each class offers an opportunity to experience the calming benefits of restorative movement while connecting with others who understand the cancer journey. Whether you're currently receiving treatment, celebrating survivorship, supporting a family member, or simply seeking a peaceful place to recharge, you'll be welcomed with compassion and care.
