Cancer: Thriving & Surviving

Pacific Cancer Foundation invites you to join Cancer: Thriving & Surviving, a 6-week workshop series developed at Stanford University to support cancer survivors in living full and active lives. This evidence-based program teaches real-life skills for managing health, building confidence, and finding joy after a cancer diagnosis.

Who can attend?
Adults living with cancer or who have had a previous diagnosis are welcome. Caregivers and support people are encouraged to participate as well.

What to expect:
Each week covers practical tools and strategies, with topics such as:

  • The mind-body connection

  • Fatigue and sleep management

  • Regaining fitness and healthy eating

  • Coping with depression and uncertainty

  • Communication with healthcare providers

  • Cancer, relationships, and self-image

  • Relaxation and guided imagery

Workshops are fun, interactive, and led by trained facilitators. Participants will receive a textbook to use throughout the series and are encouraged to attend all six sessions.

Cost: Free of charge
