A Growing Place of Support: Introducing Pacific Cancer Foundation’s Resource Library

When you or someone you love is facing cancer, even simple tasks can suddenly feel overwhelming. Finding the right doctor, navigating insurance, understanding treatment, locating financial assistance, supporting a loved one, or simply knowing where to begin can leave people searching for answers at a time when they already have so much on their hearts.

At Pacific Cancer Foundation, we believe no one should have to navigate that alone.

That is why we created our Resource Library: a growing collection of trusted local and national resources designed to support cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families across Maui County.

Available anytime on our website, the Resource Library brings together organizations, programs, services, and educational tools that may help with the practical, emotional, and everyday realities of cancer. Some resources are available right here in Maui County, while others offer support online, by phone, or statewide.

More than anything, we hope it becomes a place people can return to whenever they need guidance, reassurance, or a next step.

What You’ll Find in the Resource Library

The Resource Library is organized into categories to make it easier to find support for whatever you may be experiencing.

Health & Medical Support

Resources that help with medical care, treatment, transportation, prosthetics, second opinions, symptom management, and navigating the healthcare system.

Mental & Emotional Well-Being

Support for the emotional side of cancer, including counseling, support groups, meditation, grief support, mindfulness, and programs that help people feel less alone.

Financial Assistance & Practical Support

Organizations that may help with treatment costs, transportation, lodging, food, utility bills, household expenses, and other practical needs that can arise during treatment.

Caregiver & Family Support

Resources created specifically for caregivers, spouses, children, and family members who are supporting a loved one through cancer.

Holistic & Complementary Therapies

Programs that support overall well-being through approaches such as massage, movement, nutrition, meditation, expressive arts, acupuncture, and other complementary therapies.

End-of-Life Care & Hospice Services

Compassionate resources for individuals and families facing advanced illness, including hospice, palliative care, advance care planning, and grief support.

Always Growing, Always Evolving

One of the things we love most about the Resource Library is that it is never finished.

Our Maui County cancer community is filled with incredible organizations, healthcare providers, support groups, businesses, and individuals doing meaningful work. New programs are created. Existing services change. Community needs shift.

Because of that, we are continually updating and expanding the Resource Library to make sure it reflects the support available to our community today.

As we learn about new programs, hear recommendations from clients and caregivers, or discover organizations making a difference, we add them. We want the Resource Library to grow alongside our community.

Whether you are looking for help with transportation to treatment, support for a caregiver, financial assistance, a gentle wellness class, or simply someone to talk story with, we hope this library helps you feel a little more supported and a little less alone.

Help Us Grow the Resource Library

Do you know of a resource, organization, support group, business, or program that would benefit Maui County’s cancer community?

We would love to hear from you.

The Resource Library is strongest when it reflects the knowledge and care of our entire community. If there is a resource you think should be included, please submit it through the form on our website.

Together, we can continue building a resource that helps connect people across Maui, Lāna‘i, and Moloka‘i with the support they need.
