Pedaling with Purpose: Join Nalu’s Cycle for Life on April 26
Cancer touches so many lives in our community. For many families across Maui County, the experience of cancer can feel overwhelming, isolating, and uncertain. That is why Pacific Cancer Foundation is so grateful to be part of a new event centered on hope, connection, and coming together to support one another.
On Sunday, April 26, Nalu’s South Shore Grill and Hawai‘i Ford Dealers will host the First Annual Nalu’s Cycle for Life Fundraiser, benefiting the American Cancer Society and the Pacific Cancer Foundation Children’s Fund.
The morning begins at 7:30 a.m. at Nalu’s South Shore Grill in Kihei, where riders will check in before heading out on a beautiful ride to Makena and back. Escort vehicles from Hawai‘i Ford Dealers will accompany the group along the route, helping create a safe and supportive experience for everyone taking part.
The ride is approximately 20 miles and is best suited for riders ages 14 and older who have some experience with road biking. E-bikes are welcome, and slower riders are warmly encouraged to join. While this particular ride is not suitable for young keiki because of road conditions, families are invited to come celebrate afterward.
When riders return to Nalu’s, the morning will continue with live music, a full breakfast buffet, and a whole lot of aloha. Even if you are not riding, you can still be part of the day by joining the breakfast celebration, making a donation, and helping support local families facing cancer.
Every dollar raised will support people right here in Hawai‘i through the American Cancer Society and the Pacific Cancer Foundation Children’s Fund. Through the Children’s Fund, Pacific Cancer Foundation is able to provide practical and compassionate support to local children and families whose lives have been affected by cancer.
We are especially grateful to community members like Ron Panzo and the team at Nalu’s South Shore Grill, whose generosity and commitment continue to make a difference for families across Maui County. Their heart for the community is at the center of this event.
Mahalo to title sponsor Hawai‘i Ford Dealers, and to additional sponsors the Kimokeo Foundation, Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society, Maui Sunriders, and Nalu’s South Shore Grill for helping make this special day possible.
