Mālama Circle: A Gathering for Caregivers
At the heart of caregiving is love — steady, quiet, and often unseen. But even the most compassionate caregivers need moments to pause, breathe, and receive.
That’s why Pacific Cancer Foundation and Hospice Maui are honored to introduce Mālama Circle, a new monthly gathering created to support the caregivers of our community — the family members, friends, and loved ones who give so much of themselves.
Rooted in Care
Mālama is a Hawaiian word meaning “to take care.” Mālama Circle was born from that spirit — a space where caregivers can experience the same care they so generously extend to others.
Held on the first Friday of each month, Mālama Circle is more than an event — it’s a circle of healing, rest, and connection. Participants are invited to enjoy:
Nourishing food
Massage and healing touch
Self-care activities and wellness resources
Gentle movement or meditation
Conversation and connection with others walking a similar path
Whether you're seeking a moment of peace, the company of others who understand, or access to supportive resources, Mālama Circle is a space created with you in mind.
For Our Community’s Caregivers
Mālama Circle is open to current caregivers supported by Pacific Cancer Foundation or Hospice Maui. It’s our way of offering something back to those who show up day after day with love, patience, and strength — often without pause.
The first gathering will take place:
Friday, May 2, 2025
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Hospice Maui Campus, Wailuku
Registration is required. Register using the button below or by calling 808-242-7661.
A Partnership of Shared Support
This new offering reflects the growing partnership between Pacific Cancer Foundation and Hospice Maui, both rooted in a shared mission to support families throughout their journey with cancer and serious illness. Mālama Circle is one way we’re working together to expand access to compassionate care across Maui County.
