Pacific Cancer Foundation invites you to join Cancer: Thriving & Surviving, a free, evidence-based 6-week workshop series designed to support individuals living with cancer and those adjusting to life after treatment.

Developed at Stanford University, this program focuses on practical tools for managing day-to-day challenges such as fatigue, sleep, stress, communication with healthcare providers, and changes to the body and relationships. Sessions are interactive, skill-based, and grounded in real life.

Workshop Details:

  • Tuesdays, February 17 - March 24, 2026

  • 5:30pm - 8:00pm

  • Cameron Center, 95 Mahalani St, Wailuku

  • Free of charge

  • Light refreshments provided. Participants are welcome to bring dinner.

Facilitators:
Led by experienced healthcare leaders with deep expertise in patient-centered cancer care:

  • Dexter “Janet” Borrowman, Kaiser Permanente National Cancer Team

  • Kim-Thu Pham, MD, MPH, Internal Medicine Physician and Medical School Leader

What to expect:
Each week covers practical tools and strategies, with topics such as:

  • The mind-body connection

  • Fatigue and sleep management

  • Regaining fitness and healthy eating

  • Coping with depression and uncertainty

  • Communication with healthcare providers

  • Cancer, relationships, and self-image

  • Relaxation and guided imagery

Who is this workshop for?
Individuals living with cancer or navigating life beyond treatment. Caregivers and support people are welcome to attend.
