Join Pacific Cancer Foundation for a free Healing at Home workshop during the Molokaʻi Kūpuna Fair.

Led by Gordon Gillis, CEO and Founder of Safety Services Hawaii and a Certified Life Safety Specialist – Health Care (CLSS-HC), this interactive AARP HomeFit workshop offers practical guidance to help create safer, more supportive homes for cancer patients, caregivers, kūpuna, and anyone interested in improving home safety.

Participants will learn simple, affordable ways to:

  • Reduce fall risks throughout the home

  • Improve accessibility and mobility

  • Enhance emergency preparedness

  • Identify practical home modifications that support healing and independent living

Whether you're navigating cancer yourself, caring for a loved one, or simply looking for ways to make your home safer, you'll leave with practical ideas you can begin using right away.

This workshop is offered free of charge through Pacific Cancer Foundation's Healing at Home initiative, made possible by a 2026 AARP Community Challenge grant.
