Join Pacific Cancer Foundation for the 17th Annual Paddle for Life, a remarkable community event that brings together cancer survivors, outrigger canoe paddlers, volunteers, supporters, and escort crews for an unforgettable 36-mile roundtrip voyage across the ʻAuʻau Channel from Maui to Lānaʻi and back.
What began as a small grassroots paddle has grown into one of Hawaiʻi's most meaningful annual fundraising events. Each year, hundreds of participants come together to honor loved ones, celebrate survivorship, remember those we've lost, and stand in solidarity with everyone whose life has been touched by cancer.
Paddle for Life is more than an endurance challenge. It is a journey of hope, resilience, healing, and aloha. Throughout the weekend, participants experience the power of teamwork, the beauty of the ocean, and the strength of a community united by a shared purpose.
Every participant commits to raising funds that directly support Pacific Cancer Foundation's free programs and services for Maui County residents affected by cancer. Donations help provide patient navigation, transportation assistance, financial support, nutritional counseling, support groups, survivorship programs, and other essential resources that ensure no one faces cancer alone.
Whether you're an experienced paddler, joining through our Paddle Your Way (virtual) program, volunteering, donating, or cheering from shore, there are many ways to be part of this extraordinary tradition.
