Become a certified leader for Cancer: Thriving and Surviving (CTS)—an evidence-based program that empowers cancer survivors and caregivers with tools to manage their health and improve quality of life.
This free four-day training will prepare you to co-lead CTS workshops in partnership with Pacific Cancer Foundation. No teaching or medical background required—just compassion, strong listening skills, and a desire to give back.
Workshop Details:
Training Dates: August 18 & 19 and August 25 & 26
Time: 9am - 5pm
Location: Cameron Center, Conference Room 1 (95 Mahalani St, Wailuku)
Lunch will be provided each day
Ideal Leader Qualifications:
Lived experience with cancer (as a survivor or caregiver)
Strong listening and group communication skills
A heart for community and a desire to help others thrive
Requirements:
Must attend all four sessions to become certified
Committed to co-leading at least one six-week CTS workshop within the next year
