The Pacific Cancer Foundation, maintains a Cancer Resource Center, which is open daily from 8am to 4pm. The center provides cancer patients and their families with multi-media access, cancer related books, periodicals, journals and DVD’s.
The Foundation provides access, advocacy and information to cancer patients and their families whether it be about transportation to and from doctor visits, how to get financial aid or where to find the most appropriate information in books and on the Internet.
Through the resource center patients and their families have available to them a synthesis of useful information with assistance in finding appropriate data for the needs of those dealing with the diagnosis and recovery of cancer.
