Healing Circles: A New Cancer Community Talk Story Gathering in Maui County
Beginning April 16, Pacific Cancer Foundation is launching a new weekly gathering called Healing Circles, created for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and loved ones across Maui County.
Healing Circles is a simple, welcoming space to connect. There is no pressure to share. Come to talk story, to listen, or simply to sit in community with others who understand what you are going through.
For many in our community, asking for help or joining a traditional “support group” can feel intimidating. Healing Circles is designed differently. It is grounded in respect, cultural awareness, and the understanding that healing often begins with connection.
Facilitated by Li Hay, MS, MFT-I
The group is facilitated by Li Hay, MS, MFT-I, a Maui-based relational psychotherapist whose work is rooted in trauma-informed and emotionally attuned care. Li creates steady, compassionate space where each person’s experience is honored.
Healing Circles will meet every Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30 PM at the Cameron Center in Wailuku, with an online option available for those who prefer to join from home. As with all Pacific Cancer Foundation programs, this gathering is free for those affected by cancer in Maui County.
Whether you are newly diagnosed, in treatment, years into survivorship, or caring for someone you love, you are welcome.
