An evidence-based program developed by Stanford University
This free 6-week workshop was developed at Stanford University and explores topics such as fatigue, cancer and effects of treatment, depression, body changes, living with uncertainty, discomfort and more.
Beneficial to men and women of all ages, all different ethnic and economic backgrounds -
survivors, newly diagnosed, and support persons.
The subjects covered include:
Techniques to deal with issues such as frustration, fatigue, pain, isolation, poor sleep and living with uncertainty.
Appropriate exercise for regaining and maintaining flexibility, and endurance.
Making decisions about treatment and complementary therapies.
Communicating effectively with family, friends, and health professionals.
Nutrition, setting priorities, and relationships.
Oct. 2nd - Nov. 6th
Friends, family & caregivers are welcome to join.
